Do you lack passion in your life? Do you feel like you’re a tiny hamster in a wheel spinning round and round going nowhere?
Let me show you some delightful ways to inspire passion in your everyday life!
Let’s face it. Everyday living can be hum drum and boring. We get caught up in the daily routine and lose site of the important things. Things like love, happiness and passion.
Although we typically think of the word passion as being for the bedroom, it’s way more than that. Passion is defined as an intense desire or enthusiasm for something.
I can think of lots of things we need passion for, can’t you? Things like our husbands, our business, our church, our faith, and our life as a Daughter of the King.

Delightful Ways to Inspire Passion in your Everyday Life
Write a “Love” List
Write a list of all the things that you love or that you love to do. Consider all the things you love about life, business, and relationships. What would you love to do? Where would you love to go? Who will you be and who will you be with?
Do Something You’ve Never Done Before
Sometimes just doing something you’ve never done before can get you out of the doldrums and bring back the spice of life. Make a list of things you’d like to try but have never done before and when you get in that slump, pull the list out. Maybe your list will include things like sky diving, zip lining, or even a manicure/pedicure. Or it might even have things like painting, learning a new instrument, or writing a book. Creativity will bring inspiration and passion!
Smile and Laugh More
Smiling and lauging – even faking it – will make you feel better and happier. I’m definitely not advocating that you should be false and just fake everything, but from my own experience, sometimes the best thing you can do is make yourself smile at someone. Sometimes I even make myself smile at every person I see in the store because it helps me to feel better. Yes! I’ve faked it, but in the end it was a real thing 🙂
Make a “Just for Fun” List
If there are things that you really love to do but haven’t been able to do for a while, write them down. Make this your “Just for Fun” list. When you’re in a slump, let yourself do something from that list. My list includes things like reading a new book, writing a poem, coloring, painting furniture, going shopping with a friend, or hosting a tea party.
Change Your Story
We all tell ourselves stories about who we are, what we deserve, or what we are capable of. If we could identify those negative stories in our life (i.e. “I’m not good enough.” “I don’t really deserve to be happy”, etc) we could start re-writing our stories and making them full of the happy and positive things. You DO deserve to be happy. You ARE good enough. You are a Daughter of the King, and as such, you should attract the things that come with being a Princess. Ground your new story in courage and confidence. Take action to put those new beliefs in practice every single day.
Own Your Unique YOU
You are unique. Not a single other person in the world was created with your gifts, talents, wisdome, strength, creativity, or enthusiasm for life. No one else can do what you were created to do. Own that! Be who you were meant to be! This is something that I’m STILL learning to do and sometimes have great struggles believing, but it is super important!
Live in the Moment! That’s right! Enjoy and savour each moment that you’ve been given. Make a difference. Start delighting in the small things that come. It will inspire a passion that you will find doesn’t go away too easily.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Live your life with Passion!
